Volkswagen is offering significant discounts across its portfolio in India. Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus have received discounts worth up to Rs 3 lakh this month. These discounts come in the form of cash offers, exchange/scrappage bonuses, and loyalty benefits. The Golf GTI hatchback is the only product in Volkswagen India’s catalogue to not receive any discounts this month.

Maximum Discount: Rs 3 lakh
The Volkswagen Tiguan is available in a single, top-spec ‘R Line’ variant in India. It is imported to the country via the CBU route. Its Rs 2 lakh discount package comprises a cash offer worth Rs 2 lakh, loyalty benefits worth Rs 50,000, and a choice between an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 or Rs 20,000 in scrappage bonuses. The Tiguan R Line is priced at Rs 45.73 lakh. It is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 204hp and 320Nm of torque.
Maximum Discount: Rs 2 lakh
Volkswagen’s mass market midsize SUV, Taigun, is its most popular car in India. It is available with discounts worth up to Rs 2 lakh this month. The MY2024 1.0L TSI Topline, MY2025 Topline, and MY2025 Highline variants have bagged the biggest discount package. The MY2025 and MY2024 GT Plus (MT and DSG) variants get Rs 1.51 lakh and Rs 1.45 lakh off, respectively. The entry-level 1.0L Comfortline MT variant is available at a special price of Rs 10.58 lakh. The MT and AT variants of the MY2024 Highline trim are available at Rs 11.93 lakh and Rs 12.95 lakh, respectively. Prices for the Taigun start at Rs 11.39 lakh and go up to Rs 21.10 lakh.
Maximum Discount: Rs 1.56 lakh
The Highline 1.0L TSI variants of the Virtus sedan get the highest discount package this month. This package is valued at Rs 1.56 lakh. The Topline and Highline variants get Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 80,000 off, respectively. The MT and DSG variants of the GT Plus (1.5L TSI) trim are available with discounts worth up to Rs 50,000 and Rs 1.20 lakh, respectively. Prices for the Virtus range start at Rs 11.16 lakh and go up to Rs 18.73 lakh.
The Virtus shares its powertrain with the Taigun. The 1.5-litre TSI generates a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre TSI engine produces a maximum power output of 115hp and 178Nm of peak torque. It can be mated to a 6 manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

As mentioned earlier, these discounts are only available on the Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus. They will expire on December 31.
