Discounts of up to Rs 85,000 on Tata Tiago EV and Punch EV

Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 85,000 on two of its all-electric offerings in India – Tiago EV and Punch EV. Tata Tiago EV bags the biggest discount package this month. These discounts are being offered in the form of green bonuses and exchange/scrappage benefits. The Tigor EV, Nexon EV, and Curvv EV have not received any discounts.

Tata Tiago EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 85,000

The MY2024 XT LR variants of the Tata Tiago EV bag the biggest discount package valued at Rs 85,000. Meanwhile, the XT MR and XE variants receive offers worth Rs 70,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. The XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux variants are available with discounts worth up to Rs 60,000. The MY2025 units of the Tata Tiago EV get a discount of Rs 40,000 across all variants.

The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor on the Tata Tiago EV delivers a peak power output of 55kW and an instant torque of 114Nm. The electric hatchback can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds. There are also two driving modes on offer – City mode and Sport mode – with four levels of regen settings in each mode. Prices for the electric hatchback start at Rs 7.99 lakh and go up to Rs 11.49 lakh.

Tata Punch EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 70,000

The MY2024 LR variants of the Punch EV with the 7.2kW charger get discounts worth up to Rs 70,000. Meanwhile, LR variants with the 3.3kW charger are available with offers worth up to Rs 50,000. The Smart and Smart+ variants of the 3.3kW MR Punch have received offers worth Rs 50,000. The remaining 3.3kW MR variants get Rs 50,000 off. All MY2025 variants except Smart and Smart+ are available with benefits worth up to Rs 40,000. Prices for the Punch EV start at Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 14.29 lakh.

Conclusion

These discounts will expire at the end of the month. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock.  Tata currently has the most diverse and affordable electric vehicle portfolio out of all the automakers in the country.
