Audi RS Q8 facelift: What to expect?

Overseas, the Audi RS Q8 facelift is available in 2 variants. The automaker will bring the top-spec Performance variant to India. The facelifted model follows the design language of the outgoing variant but gets a few cosmetic tweaks. These include new front aprons with striking air intakes, a unique honeycomb grille, and a blade in high-gloss black. The striking LED Matrix headlamps are integrated with LED DRLs. The rear fascia flaunts OLED tail lamps. The top-spec Performance variant gets two oval tailpipes. This sets it apart from the base model.

Inside, the Audi RS Q8 facelift features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8.6-inch climate control screen. The top-spec Performance variant flaunts a 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit with a shift light indicator. There are multiple (Red, Grey, and Blue) colour themes on offer for the interior of the SUV. The Blue theme is exclusive to the Performance variant. The top-spec model also gets Sports Seats Plus with Race-Tex upholstery for elevated comfort.

Powering the Audi RS Q8 facelift is the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. On the base model, this engine produces a maximum power output of 600hp and 800Nm of torque. It can go from 0-100kmph in 3.8 seconds. Its top speed is capped at 250kmph. Meanwhile, the Performance variant generates a maximum power output of 640hp and 850Nm, making it the most powerful ICE offering from Audi yet. It can go from 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of over 305kmph.
