The front fascia of the new Vantage is highlighted by a new, large grille covering the bumper. There are vertically stacked air intakes on either side of the bumper. The profile of the luxury coupe looks similar to the Aston Martin DB12. The fender air ducts have been tweaked. The electronic door handles sit flush on the body. The Vantage rests on 21-inch alloy wheels. The tail lamp design of the coupe follows the same language as the more recent offerings from the automaker.
Inside, the Aston Martin Vantage shares a lot of similarities with the DB12. It flaunts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 15-speaker sound system from Bowers & Wilkins, a 360-degree camera, powered seats that are 8-way adjustable, and a new cockpit arrangement. There is also an ADAS package onboard with features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, and more.
Things remain the same under the hood as the Aston Martin Vantage continues to be powered by the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine sourced from Mercedes. However, this engine now generates an improved power output of 665hp and 800Nm of torque. The outgoing version put out 510hp and 685Nm. The V8 engine is paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The sports coupe can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 3.4 seconds. Its top speed has been capped at 325kmph.
