New Adventure X trims added to Tata Harrier and Safari

Tata Motors has added a new Adventure X trim level to the Tata Harrier and Safari SUVs. The new trim replaces the Adventure, Adventure+, and Adventure+ A variants in the lineups of both SUVs. The Adventure X variants cost less than the variants they replace. These variants come with new colour options for the exterior and interior.

The prices for the Adventure X and Adventure X+ variants are merely introductory. The introductory offer will end on October 31, following which Tata will hike the prices of the 2 variants. At the moment, they undercut the outgoing Adventure A variants by Rs 55,000. The Tata Harrier Dark Edition demands a premium of Rs 65,000 for the Adventure X variants and Rs 55,000 for the Fearless variants. Meanwhile, the Stealth Edition is priced Rs 75,000 higher than the top-spec Fearless variants it is based on.

The Tata Harrier Adventure X is available in an exclusive Seaweed Green paint shade that differentiates it from the variants placed below it. Inside, it gets a dual-tone black and tan colour theme. In terms of feature upgrades, it gets a Level 2 ADAS package, rear disc brakes, and an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with auto-hold.

Like their Tata Harrier counterparts, the introductory offer for the Adventure X+ variant of the Safari will end on October 31. The Dark Edition models based on the Pure X, Adventure X+, and Accomplished X variants demand a premium of Rs 65,000. Meanwhile, the Accomplished X+ Dark Edition variants are pricier by Rs 35,000. Lastly, the Stealth Edition, based on the top-spec Accomplished X+ variants, demand a premium of Rs 75,000.

The Adventure X+ variant of the Tata Safari is available in a new Supernova Copper paint shade. Its interior comes in an Adventure Oak colour theme. Feature additions to the new variant include a 360-degree camera, auto-headlights and wipers, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, and a Level 2 ADAS package.

Furthermore, with this new persona, we have also reimagined the Harrier and Safari line completely, making the range more intuitive, streamlined, and value-rich than ever before in the high SUV space.”

Final Thoughts

No changes have been made under the hood of the Tata Harrier and Safari. The two SUVs share the same powertrain. The 2.0-litre diesel engine powering the two SUVs is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter gearbox.
