2024 Hyundai i20 N Line breaks cover in Europe

After launching the Hyundai i20 N Line in India last year, the automaker has revealed an updated version of the special edition hatchback for the European market. The European version of the hatchback gets some updated features but remains mechanically unchanged. In true N Line fashion, the i20 gets red detailing along the exterior and the interior. It will be introduced in the Indian market in the coming months.

2024 Hyundai i20 N Line: What’s on offer?

The 2024 Hyundai i20 N Line gets a new pattern for the front grille along with N Line-specific design elements on the bumper. The red highlights can be found on the bumper and side skirts. The hatchback gets exclusive N Line badging as well. It rests on newly designed 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The twin exhausts at the back get a chrome garnish. There are no radical cosmetic changes on the 2024 i20 N Line. It looks similar to its 2023 counterpart which is currently sold in India.

Inside, the 2024 Hyundai i20 N Line gets an all-black theme with red accents on the AC vents, upholstery, and the door handle. The hatchback also features an N Line exclusive steering wheel with perforated leather and red stitching. The gear knob also features leather inlays, red accents, and N Line branding. Overall, the hatchback’s cabin exudes a sporty look.

The instrumentation on the new Hyundai i20 N Line facelift includes a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a Bose audio system, and more. In terms of safety features, the 2024 i20 N Line gets Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Following Assist (LFA) and standard. Optional safety features include Blind-spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), Parking Assist (PA), and more.

Things remain the same under the hood, as the 2024 Hyundai i20 N Line continues to be powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 120hp and 170Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

Conclusion

The updated Hyundai i20 N Line gets four new colour options – Meta Blue Pearl, Lumen Grey Pearl, Lucid Lime Metallic, and Vibrant Blue Pearl. The current version of the hatchback is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 12.52 lakh in India. The regular i20 range starts at Rs 7.04 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.21 lakh. The hatchback rivals the likes of Maruti Baleno, Tata Altroz, Tata Altroz iTurbo, and Toyota Glanza.
