Ducati has a history of making beautiful yet powerful machines since 1926 and has never disappointed its customers. The XDiavel is top of the segment cruiser, which not only looks stunning but offers great performance. It keeps the balance between a cruiser and a sports tourer.

After the BS6 norms in India, Ducati made some changes to the bike and launched it. Unlike few other brands in the market, there was no power loss seen, rather there was a boost in power, which is quite impressive from Ducati.

Price and availability

The Ducati XDiavel was released in two colour options of XDiavel Dark and the XDiavel Black Star. Following the matt black legacy of Ducati. The XDiavel Dark has a price sticker of Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and the XDiavel Black Star charges you a premium of Rs 22.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India) available at all the Ducati showrooms across India.

Ducati XDiavel Specifications

Both of them are paired with twin-cylinder Ducati testastretta DVT 1262 made compliant for India’s BS-6 norms. Ducati updated its silencers just as they did for Diavel and calibrated the engine accordingly to give a powerful performance. The new Ducati XDiavel now produces 160hp @9500 rpm and 128Nm@ 5000 rpm, which is 8hp and 2nm more than its Bs-4 model.

As with all the current Ducati’s, there is a change in electronics too. The new Bosch IMU tracks the raider’s drivability, patterns and adjusts the ABS accordingly. With all the other juicy features, Ducati was still able to cut short 2Kg’s from both the bikes.

XDiavel gets adjustable USD and mono-shock with 2 x 320mm semi-floating disk brakes and lightweight alloy wheels, making it a combination of being quick and looking beautiful at the same time. Adding on to it, the company also offers Pirelli Diablo Rosso III on both front and back for maximum grip even in wet conditions.

Ducati has left no stones unturned when it comes to electronics by offering a 3.5 inch TFT colour display, which provides a ton of information related to the bike. Cornering ABS is switchable, full-LED light system, firm handlebar with backlit on offer, Traction Control and more.

Ducati is also giving owners 24 months of unlimited mileage warranty, which will attract new customers to buy one of these bikes as covering distance is not an issue with a massive 18-litre fuel tank.
