All-new Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 launched in India

The next-gen versions of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 have gone on sale in India today. The Pulsar 150 is priced at Rs 1,15,233, while the 125cc model fetches Rs 92,900. The latter also comes with a new engine. Both motorcycles get cosmetic tweaks, a new diamond-type frame, new suspensions, and feature additions.

2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125: What’s new?

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 retains the 149.55cc engine from the previous model. It generates a maximum power output of 14hp at 8,500rpm and 13.7Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Meanwhile, the Pulsar 125 gets a new 124.58cc engine, which generates a maximum power output of 12.1hp at 8,000rpm and 11.4Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Compared to the previous model, the power and torque figures have gone up by 0.3hp and 0.6Nm, respectively. 

Both motorcycles come with a new 5-speed gearbox with improved tractive effort in lower gears for stronger low-speed performance. The new diamond-type frame has greater stiffness for better handling. The engine acts as a stiffness member and, as a result, improves overall ride & stability. The improved power-to-weight ratio improves acceleration from 0-60km/h. The twin-shock rear suspension has been replaced by a monoshock unit. There are right-side-up (RSU) telescopic forks up front.

In terms of features, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 get a new 5-inch TFT console with Google Maps mirroring and intuitive navigation. This panel can store the vehicle RC, insurance, and other important documents. Live calling, message alerts, and music controls are also supported. There are 3 ride modes on offer – Road, Rain, and Sport.  The all-new ISG, available on the top three variants, enables automatic stop-start to help improve mileage. The new Crawl Tech feature offers greater control and convenience in low-speed traffic.

Final Thoughts

The two motorcycles are available in single and split seat layouts. Bajaj has also tweaked the wolf-eye scowl for better optics. Other than that, there aren’t any big design changes on the two motorbikes. They rival the Honda Unicorn, TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha FZS-FI V4, TVS Raider 125, and Honda Shine 125 in India.
