Feature upgrades are limited to a built-in dashcam and reinforced grab handles. The special edition retains the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system of the standard model. This display supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It runs Jeep’s Uconnect 5 OS, which comes with the Trails Offroad guide, which has 62 off-road trails integrated into the infotainment system. On the safety front, the SUV gets six airbags, ESC, hill start assist, hill descent control, TPMS, ADAS, and more.

No changes have been made under the hood of the limited edition SUV. It is powered by the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol unit as the standard model. It generates a maximum power output of 270hp and 400Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed torque converter gearbox.
Kumar Priyesh, Business Head & Director – Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said, “The response to the Wrangler Rubicon Whitecap Edition has been exceptional and further demonstrates the strong emotional connection Indian customers share with the Jeep brand. Whitecap was conceived as a limited-production collector’s edition, inspired by Jeep’s iconic design DNA and created for customers who value exclusivity and distinction. The fact that all units have now been spoken for reflects both the enduring appeal of the Wrangler and the growing appreciation for rare Jeep vehicles among enthusiasts in India. We are delighted to welcome these customers to a unique ownership experience that reflects the values of freedom, adventure and authenticity that define Jeep.”
