Tata Harrier and Safari Stealth Editions: What’s on offer?
As is tradition, the Stealth Edition models for the Harrier and Safari don the all-black look. The two SUVs carry forward the bold grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps, and sleek LED DRLs. The 19-inch alloy wheels look similar to the ones on the Dark and Red-Dark editions, but they rock the ‘Stealth Matte Black’ paint shade. The special edition models get exclusive ‘Stealth’ badging along the front fenders.
The all-black theme continues inside the two SUVs. The Stealth Editions have a blacked-out cabin with ‘Carbon Noir’ upholstery. The dial for the Terrain Response System is studded with shiny jewels. The special edition models have a loaded feature list since they are based on the top-spec variants.
They rock a Samsung-sourced 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, and a 13-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos. Other features include powered and ventilated front seats, an adjustable centre armrest, an IVRM, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, fast Type-C charging (65W), Alexa support, and more. There is a Level 2 ADAS package on board as well.
The Stealth Editions come in diesel and petrol engine options. The latter was added to the lineup of the two SUVs earlier this year. This 1.5-litre 4-cylinder Hyperion turbo petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 170hp and 280Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual or torque converter gearbox. The 2-litre turbo-diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 170hp and 350Nm of torque. It can also be mated to a 6-speed manual or torque converter gearbox.
