Skoda Kodiaq RS: What’s on offer?
The Skoda Kodiaq RS has a sportier look than the rest of the lineup. It flaunts a glossy black grille, exterior mirror covers, upper window frames, roof rails, and D pillars. The front bumper has been tweaked for a sporty appeal. Some of its elements are finished in black. The SUV rests on 20-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers. The RS badging is present on the tailgate and grille.
The international-spec Skoda Kodiaq RS comes with 2 interior design selections – RS Lounge and RS Suite. Both selections feature sports seats with integrated headrests, artificial leather upholstery, and red contrast stitching. The SUV also features a free-standing 13-inch infotainment display, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and more.
The Skoda Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. It produces an improved power output of 265hp and 400Nm of torque. This is 60hp and 80Nm more than what the regular 2.0 TSI engine produces on the standard Kodiaq. The Kodiaq RS comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said, “The RS badge carries over 50 years of global performance legacy and a fiercely loyal following in India since the Octavia RS arrived more than two decades ago. The latest Octavia RS, launched last year, sold out in just 20 minutes, highlighting its cult status among enthusiasts. Now, we’re taking that legacy forward with the Kodiaq RS, our first-ever seven-seater in India to wear the iconic RS badge and the quickest Škoda yet in the country. It blends performance, space, and 4×4 capability into a bold, unmistakable expression of our racing DNA.”
