Suzuki has announced its showcase lineup for the Tokyo Auto Salon to be held next year. The special edition Suzuki Jimny Nomade, created in collaboration with the ‘Monster Hunter’ game by Capcom, will make its debut at the auto show. The DR-Z4S will also get a Monster Hunter Wilds edition. The Tokyo Auto Salon will be held at Makuhari Messe (Chiba City, Chiba) from Friday, 9 January to Sunday, 11 January 2026.

Suzuki Jimny Nomade Monster Hunter Wilds Edition: Here’s what we know so far
The special edition Jimny Nomade is inspired by the “Pop-up Camps” featured in Monster Hunter. It gets graphics and decals inspired by the game, adding a sense of realism to the lifestyle SUV’s aesthetics. Suzuki says that the Monster Hunter Wilds edition is “a playful model designed to spark the spirit of adventure and challenge unknown fields.”

No changes have been made under the hood of the special edition Jimny Nomade. It continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 100hp and 130Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, which delivers a mileage of 15.9kmpl. The 4-speed automatic transmission offers a mileage of 15.2kmpl.
The Suzuki DR-Z4S dualsport motorbike will also get a Monster Hunter Wilds edition. It is inspired by “Seikret,” a means of transportation and companion featured in the Monster Hunter game. This special edition model evokes an excitement of adventure. Suzuki plans on showcasing three other concept models at the auto show – XBEE ‘Nature Photographer’ Edition, Every Wagon ‘Wanpaku Rider’, Super Carry ‘Work & Play Pro’, and Swift Sport ‘Super Taikyu’ Race Version. The GSX-8TT motorcycle will also be on display.

Suzuki’s booth at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 will be located in East Hall 7, under the theme “Life with Adventure.” On January 10 and 11, a talk show is scheduled with driver Daisuke Ito, AutoLabo team representative and race car builder Koji Kunimatsu, and Suzuki engineers.

The Suzuki Jimny Nomade is manufactured in India and shipped to its home territory, Japan. The automaker has sold over 3.5 million units of the lifestyle SUV across the world. It maintains its presence in 199 countries and regions. In Japan, it is sold alongside its 3-door counterpart, Jimny Sierra. In India, the Jimny comes in a single 5-door version.
