In India, the Skoda Octavia comes in a single ‘RS’ variant. The RS badging can be found on the radiator grille. The design of this grille has been slightly changed from the previous model. The style of the front and rear bumpers has been tweaked as well. Flanking the grille on either side are 2nd-gen LED Matrix headlamps integrated with LED DRLs. The grille frame, side-window trim, wing mirror covers, roof rails, rear-bumper diffuser, and exhaust tailpipes are finished in black. The RS variant is available in an exclusive ‘Mamba Green’ paint shade along with other colours like Magic Black, Candy White, Race Blue, and Velvet Red.
When it comes to interior upgrades, the new Octavia RS rocks a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and a head-up display. The infotainment system is equipped with Skoda’s in-house digital assistant named ‘Laura’. This digital assistant is powered by ChatGPT. Other features of the premium sedan include an 11-speaker Canton sound system, three-zone automatic climate control, powered front seats with heating and massage functions, and a ‘Phone Box’ with 15W wireless and 45W wired charging and integrated cooling.
The RS variant of the Skoda Octavia is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 265hp and 370Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. There’s an All Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration on board. The sedan can go from 0-100km/h in 6.4 seconds. Its top speed is capped at 250km/h.

This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. Lastly, the 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 113hp, but it can also be had in a 147hp version with a DSG automatic gearbox.
