2025 Mahindra Thar Roxx: What’s new?

The new Mahindra Thar Roxx has been updated with 3 new features – keyless entry, sliding armrest, and aero wipers. The keyless entry button is placed on the door handle. When pushed, it unlocks the car. Previously, only the driver’s armrest had the sliding functionality. Now, the automaker has added the sliding armrest to the passenger’s seat as well. Lastly, the new aero wipers elevate the wiping efficiency and are less noisy than conventional wipers.

The interior of the Mahindra Thar Roxx flaunts two 10.25-inch screens – one for the touchscreen infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster. Other features include ambient lighting, wireless charging, automatic climate control, a cooled glove box, a front armrest, a panoramic sunroof, a powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seating, a 9-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, and more. The higher variants are available with an ADAS package.

No changes have been made to the Mahindra Thar Roxx’s powertrain. The lifestyle SUV is available in 2 engine options. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 174hp and 380Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 2.2-litre diesel engine puts out 172hp and 370Nm. These engines can be mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
