Trim 63kWh (RWD) 75kWh (AWD) 75kWh (AWD)
Pure Rs 18.79 lakh
Pure S Rs 19.99 lakh
Adventure Rs 20.99 lakh Rs 22.19 lakh
Empowered Rs 22.79 lakh Rs 23.79 lakh

The Sierra EV stands at dimensions of 4,340mm x 1,841mm x 1,750mm and has a 2,730mm wheelbase. It clears the ground at 205mm. Since it is a direct ICE-to-EV conversion, its design does not stray too far from that of its ICE counterpart. The front fascia of the EV does not get the black trim between the headlamps. Instead, it gets a cleaner, body-coloured panel with the Tata logo. The ‘Sierra’ lettering is also absent on the EV. The bumper accommodates the glossy black trim, exuding a bold look.

Not much separates the two cars along the sides. The Sierra EV retains the iconic wraparound effect on its rear window. It rides on 18-inch alloys, with the higher trims getting the option for 19-inch wheels. There’s EV-exclusive badging on the front doors. At the back, it gets a clamshell tailgate, sleek LED tail lamps, and ‘Sierra.ev’ lettering.

Inside, the Sierra EV gets the same layout as the ICE model. It flaunts a triple-screen ‘Horizon View’ setup on the dashboard. This arrangement comprises a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch passenger display, and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. The lower variants do not come with the passenger display. There’s wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity on board. The EV has a boot space capacity of 622 litres. The RWD and AWD variants have a frunk space capacity of 55 litres and 35 litres, respectively.

Other features of the Tata Sierra EV include ventilated front row seating, a 6-way powered driver seat with memory and welcome functions, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging, dual-zone air conditioning, an air purifier, umbrella holder, a 12-speaker JBL Black sound system, NFC support, Boss Mode, V2L/V2V charging, and more. On the safety front, it gets 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ISOFIX anchorages, a Level 2 ADAS suite with 22 functions, and more.

V2V charging

There are 2 battery pack options on offer – 63kWh and 75kWh. The former can go up to 535km on a full charge. Meanwhile, the driving range for the 75kWh battery pack comes out to 665km and 624km on RWD and AWD variants, respectively. The 7.2kW home AC charger, available at a premium of Rs 49,000, can charge the 63kWh battery from 10-100% in 9.3 hours and the 75kWh pack in 10.7 hours.

The RWD model, powered by a rear-mounted single electric motor, generates a maximum power output of 238hp and 209hp on the 63kWh and 75kWh variants, respectively. The torque output is the same for both variants – 315Nm. The AWD model, available with the 75kWh battery pack only, gets an additional 140hp front-mounted electric motor. Its torque is capped at 504Nm. The Sierra EV (AWD) can go from 0-100km/h in 5.8 seconds.
