Tata Nexon EV, Tiago EV, and Punch EV continue to be offered with discounts worth up to Rs 2.05 lakh

Tata Motors is carrying forward its discount packages for its EV portfolio from last month. The automaker is offering benefits of up to Rs 2.05 lakh on the Tata Nexon EV, Tiago EV, and Punch EV. The Nexon EV bags the biggest discount package. These discounts are being offered in the form of ‘green bonuses’. The Tigor EV is the only Tata Electric offering to not receive any discounts this month.

Tata Nexon EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 2.05 lakh

MY2023 units of Tata Nexon EV are available with a green bonus of up to Rs 2.05 lakh across all variants. The top-spec Empowered+ LR variants of the all-electric Nexon receive green bonuses worth up to Rs 1.80 lakh. The value of green bonuses for other variants ranges between Rs 1 lakh – Rs 1.20 lakh. The Creative variant gets the smallest discount, worth Rs 20,000. Prices for the Tata Nexon EV start at Rs 14.49 lakh and go up to Rs 19.49 lakh.

Tata Tiago EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 65,000

MY2023 units of the Tiago EV are available with a green bonus worth Rs 65,000 this month. This figure drops down to Rs 50,000 for the XT LR variant of the MY2024 Tiago EV. Top-spec LR variants are available with discounts in the range of Rs 25,000 – Rs 40,000. The MR variants get Rs 10,000 off.

The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor on the electric hatchback delivers a peak power output of 55kW and an instant torque of 114Nm. The electric hatchback can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds. There are also two driving modes on offer – City mode and Sport mode – with four levels of regen settings in each mode.

Tata Punch EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 30,000

The Punch EV was launched earlier this year. It is available with discounts worth up to Rs 30,000 this month. Prices for the electric SUV start at Rs 10.99 lakh. There are two battery options on offer – a 25kWh battery pack with a driving range of 315km and a 35kWh unit that can power the EV for 421km. There are two charging options as well – a 3.3kW wall charger and a 7.2kW fast charger. With a 50kW DC charger, the  Punch EV can be charged from 10-80% in 56 minutes.

Conclusion

These discounts will expire at the end of the month. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock.  Tata currently has the most diverse and affordable electric vehicle portfolio out of all the automakers in the country.
