Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV, and Tiago EV receive discounts of up to Rs 1.30 lakh

Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 1.30 lakh on three of its all-electric offerings – Nexon EV, Punch EV, and Tiago EV. Tata Nexon EV bags the biggest discount package this month. These discounts come in the form of cash offers, exchange bonuses, and corporate benefits. They will expire at the end of the month.

Tata Nexon EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.30 lakh

The Empowered+ LR and Empowered+ LR Dark variants of the Tata Nexon EV have received discounts of up to Rs 1.30 lakh this month. Meanwhile, the other variants have gotten discounts in the range of Rs 50,000 – Rs 70,000. The Creative+ MR is the only variant to not get a discount this month. Prices for the Tata Nexon EV start at Rs 14.49 lakh and go up to Rs 19.49 lakh.

Tata Tiago EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 50,000

The Long Range variants of the Tiago EV receive discounts worth up to Rs 50,000 this month while the offers for the Mid Range variants are limited to Rs 10,000. The EV is available in two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh. The former has a driving range of 250km, while the latter can power the EV up to 315km. The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor on the electric hatchback delivers a peak power output of 55kW and an instant torque of 114Nm. The electric hatchback can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds. There are also two driving modes on offer – City mode and Sport mode – with four levels of regen settings in each mode.

Tata Punch EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 30,000

The Punch EV is available with discounts in the range of Rs 10,000 – Rs 30,000 this month.  The Punch EV was launched in January 2024 at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh. There are two battery options on offer – a 25kWh battery pack with a driving range of 315km and a 35kWh unit that can power the EV for 421km. There are two charging options as well – a 3.3kW wall charger and a 7.2kW fast charger. With a 50kW DC charger, the  Punch EV can be charged from 10-80% in 56 minutes.

Conclusion

These discounts will expire at the end of the month. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock.  Tata currently has the most diverse and affordable electric vehicle portfolio out of all the automakers in the country.
