The new V-Cross gets a redesigned bumper with a sleeker look than the one on the outgoing model. The grille is surrounded by a black finish, giving it a bolder look. The fog lamp housings are now body coloured. The silver faux skid plate has been ditched on the new model. Along the sides, the 18-inch alloy wheels get a new 12-spoke diamond cut design. The entry-level Z Standard trim gets 16-inch steel wheels. The wheel arch body cladding has been removed. The OVRMs are integrated with blinkers. As mentioned earlier, the pickup truck no longer comes in a 4×2 drive configuration. All variants of the new model support an auto-locking differential for better off-road performance.
