Hyundai Venue E+ with electric sunroof launched at Rs 8.23 lakh

Hyundai Motor India has added a new E+ variant to Venue’s lineup. Hyundai Venue E+ is priced at Rs 8,23,100 and is the most affordable variant in the SUV’s lineup to come with an electric sunroof. Previously, the S+ variant of the Venue, priced at Rs 9.35 lakh, was the most affordable variant with the electric sunroof. The S+ and S(O) variants were added to Venue’s lineup last month.

Hyundai Venue E+: Here’s what you get for Rs 8.23 lakh

Powering the E+ variant of the Hyundai Venue is the 1.2-litre petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is no option for an automatic gearbox with this variant.

Hyundai Venue is also offered with two more engines. However, these powertrains are not available with the E+ variant. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 120hp and 172Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine puts out 116hp and 250Nm of torque.

As mentioned earlier, the Hyundai Venue E+ is the most affordable variant of the SUV to come with an electric sunroof. It also gets a digital instrument cluster with a TFT MID, front and rear adjustable headrests, 60:40 split seating, a 2-step rear reclining seat, and more. Safety features include 6 airbags, day and night IVRM, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist Control, and more.

Hyundai Venue’s E+ variant sits just above the entry-level E variant in the SUV’s lineup. The only feature it offers over the E variant is the electric sunroof. It lacks features like LED headlamps, automatic air conditioning, and a touchscreen infotainment system.

The Hyundai Venue range starts at Rs 7.94 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.48 lakh. Top-spec variants of the SUV are available with an ADAS package. The compact SUV rivals the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and Mahindra XUV300.
