Hyundai Aura E CNG launched at Rs 7.48 lakh

Hyundai India has added a CNG variant to the E trim of the Aura sedan. This makes the Hyundai Aura CNG affordable by Rs 82,000. The E, S, and SX variants of the sedan are available with a CNG powertrain. The regular Aura lineup starts at Rs 6.49 lakh and is available in a total of 8 variants. The Exter SUV was launched with a CNG powertrain back in July.

Hyundai Aura CNG: Everything you need to know

Hyundai Aura E CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 69hp and 95Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The fuel efficiency on offer is 28.4 km/kg. In a petrol configuration, this engine generates a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. The petrol engine can be mated to a 5-speed AMT gearbox as well.

The Hyundai Aura E CNG is packed with features like front power windows, driver seat height adjustment, adjustable rear seat headrests and an 8.89 cm (3.5-inch) speedometer with a multi-information display. Safety features include 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts for all seats, and seatbelt reminders for all seats. Being a CNG model, the Hyundai Aura has a leak-proof design, a CNG switch, and a convenient CNG refuelling nozzle near the petrol filling area.

Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, the regular Hyundai Aura range starts at Rs 6.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.05 lakh. In India, the Hyundai Aura CNG rivals the Tata Tigor CNG, Honda Amaze CNG, and Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire CNG.
