Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus offered with discounts worth up to Rs 2.70 lakh

Volkswagen India is offering significant discounts on two of its most popular offerings – Volkswagen Taigun and Volkswagen Virtus. These discounts are worth up to Rs 2.70 lakh. The newly introduced Golf GTI and Tiguan R-Line have not received any discounts. The offers on the Taigun and Virtus will expire on May 31. They come in the form of cash discounts, loyalty bonuses, and exchange/scrappage benefits.

Volkswagen Taigun

Maximum Discount: Rs 2.70 lakh

The GT Plus Chrome 1.5L TSI DSG variant of Volkswagen Taigun gets Rs 2.50 lakh off. Meanwhile, its GT Plus Sport counterpart is available with a discount of 2 lakh. The Topline 1.0L TSI AT variant gets offers worth up to Rs 2.35 lakh. The Highline and GT Line variants get Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 1.45 lakh off, respectively. All of these variants get an additional Rs 20,000 off in exchange/scrappage benefits. Prices for the Volkswagen Taigun start at Rs 11.80 lakh and go up to Rs 19.83 lakh.

Volkswagen Virtus

Maximum Discount: Rs 2.10 lakh

The Highline and Topline 1.0L TSI AT variants of the Virtus sedan get up to Rs 1.90 lakh off. Meanwhile, the GT Line variant gets discounts worth up to Rs 80,000. The GT Plus Sport and Chrome variants with the 1.5L TSI DSG powertrain get Rs 1.35 lakh. Additionally, all of these variants get a scrappage bonus of Rs 20,000. Prices for the Virtus start at Rs 11.56 lakh and go up to Rs 19.40 lakh.

Final Thoughts

As mentioned earlier, these discounts are only available on the Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus. The offers will expire on May 31.
