Volkswagen India has announced discounts of up to Rs 2 lakh on its midsize SUV and sedan – Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus. These discounts will expire at the end of April. The automaker’s flagship SUV in India, the Tiguan, has been delisted from the official website ahead of the launch of the Tiguan R-Line. Last month, the Tiguan was available with discounts worth up to Rs 4.20 lakh.

Maximum Discount: Rs 2 lakh
MY2024 units of the Volkswagen Taigun are available with discounts worth up to Rs 2 lakh. These discounts come in the form of cash offers, loyalty bonuses, and exchange/scrappage benefits. The MY2025 units of the SUV get Rs 1 lakh off. Prices for the Volkswagen Taigun start at Rs 11.70 lakh and go up to Rs 19.74 lakh.
Maximum Discount: Rs 1.50 lakh
MY2024 units of the Virtus sedan are available with discounts worth up to Rs 1.50 lakh. Meanwhile, the MY2025 units get Rs 70,000 off. Prices for the Virtus start at Rs 11.56 lakh and go up to Rs 19.40 lakh. The sedan is available in 2 engine options. The 1.5-litre TSI engine produces a maximum power of 150hp and 250Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre TSI engine puts out 115hp and 178Nm. The Virtus shares its powertrain with the Volkswagen Taigun.

As mentioned earlier, these discounts are only available on the Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus. The offers will expire on April 30.
