Using the 3.3kW charger that comes with the car, the EV can be fully charged in seven hours. Powering the Comet EV is a single electric motor that can produce a maximum power output of 42hp and 110Nm of torque. The Comet is a rebadged version of the Wuling Air which is sold in Indonesia.
The interior of the MG Comet EV is decked with premium features. The urban commuter gets dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and the instrument cluster. The steering gets a two-spoke design with integrated controls. The centre control is detached from the dashboard, which gives a unique look to the interior. This centre control houses the gear selector, power window switches, and an electronic parking brake. Comet’s seating capacity is limited to 4 people, but there is ample legroom for the passengers. A total of 55 connectivity features are available for the Comet and can be accessed through the dedicated app.
MG Comet is available in five colour options. Buyers can also opt for different stickers and graphic packs to personalise the EV. MG Comet will also rival the Citroen eC3.
