Skoda India has added a new ‘Style’ Edition to Slavia’s lineup. The Style Edition is based on the top-spec variant of the Slavia and costs Rs 19.13 lakh, demanding a premium of Rs 30,000. Skoda will produce the Style Edition in limited numbers. Only 500 units of the special edition sedan will be launched for sale.

The Skoda Slavia Style Edition gets blacked-out B pillars with exclusive ‘Edition’ badging. The mirror covers and roof foil have also been blacked out. Other than that, there are no changes to the exterior of the sedan. The special edition sedan is available in 3 exclusive colours – Tornado Red, Candy White, and Brilliant Silver.
Inside, the Style Edition of the Skoda Slavia sedan gets ‘Slavia’ branding on the scuff plate and ‘Edition’ branding on the steering wheel. The puddle lamps on the sedan project the brand’s logo on the ground. It also gets all the features from the top-spec Style trim. This includes a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and a sunroof. Skoda Slavia is one of the safest midsize sedans in India, having received a 5-star rating from the Global NCAP. The sedan is offered with six airbags as standard across all variants.
Under the hood, the Style Edition of Skoda Slavia is offered with only one powertrain option – 1.5-litre TSI petrol. This 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. This sedan can go from 0-100kmph in 8.96 seconds.

It comes in very limited numbers, for a very focussed set of our customers, but will be accessible across our 200-plus sales touchpoints across India.”

Skoda is offering a standard warranty of 4 years/1,00,000 km and an optional warranty of up to 8 years/1,50,000 km with the Slavia Style Edition. The midsize sedan rivals the likes of the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Honda City in India.
