Mahindra Auto has slashed the prices for the XUV700 SUV by up to Rs 75,000. However, only the AX7 and AX7 L trims of the Mahindra XUV700 have received the benefits. This includes the turbo-petrol and diesel powertrains. Prices for the AX7 and AX7 L variants of the newly launched Ebony Edition have not been changed.

The Mahindra XUV700 is available in two powertrain options. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 200hp and 380Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine is available in two tune levels. In entry-level variants, it generates a maximum power output of 155hp and 360Nm of torque. Whereas, in top-spec variants, this turbo diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 185hp and 420Nm. Paired with an automatic transmission, the torque output jumps to 450Nm. Both engines can be paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Inside, the Mahindra XUV700 gets a twin 12.5-inch touchscreen setup for the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, a Sony 3D surround sound system, an electronic parking brake, a blind spot monitor, and an ADAS package.
The AX7 trim of Mahindra XUV700 gets premium features like driver drowsiness detection, built-in Alexa, LED Clearview headlamps with auto booster, LED Fog lamps with cornering function, R18 Diamond Cut Alloy, Leatherette Seat & IP, Leather, Steering & Gear lever, 6-Way Power seat with Memory and Welcome retract, Intelli Control, Rain Sensing Wiper, Smart Clean Zone, and more. Its luxury pack adds features like 3D Audio with 12 Speakers by Sony, 360° Surround View, Ventilated Seats, Knee Airbag, Passive Keyless Entry, Electronic Park Brake, Blind View Monitor, Continuous Digital Video Recording, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go (AT), Telescopic Steering, Vanity Mirror Illumination, and more.

Prices for the Mahindra XUV700 start at Rs 13.99 lakh and go up to Rs 25.89 lakh. The SUV is available in 7 variants. It rivals the likes of the Tata Safari, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, MG Hector and Hector Plus, and Kia Seltos in India.
