MG Cyberster: Colour options revealed

In Europe, MG Cyberster is available in 6 exterior paint shades. However, in India, the EV will be available in 4 colours – red, grey, white, and yellow. The actual names of the colours will be revealed upon the car’s launch. The Cyberster is offered in the same 4 colours in Malaysia as well.

MG Cyberster stands at dimensions of 4,533mm x 1,912mm x 1,328mm and has a 2,689mm wheelbase. It takes design inspiration from the 1960s MG B Roadster. The electric sports car’s front fascia features swanky LED headlamps, a closed-off grille, and split air intake vents. The profile of the EV is very aerodynamic. It showcases the car’s K-tail silhouette and the retractable roof. The Cyberster has scissor doors with dual sensors for safety. A sleek LED strip runs along the rear width of the car. The turn indicators below this strip are shaped like arrows.

MG Cyberster is powered by two oil-cooled electric motors. These motors are positioned on either axle. The EV can produce a maximum power output of 510hp and 725Nm of torque. The automaker claims it can go from 0-100kmph in just 3.2 seconds. Its top speed has been capped at 201kmph. The 77kWh battery pack offers a driving range of 444km on a full charge. The sports car has a 50:50 weight distribution which helps it achieve greater stability at a high speed. It is also equipped with a front double wishbone and a rear five-link independent suspension.

The international-spec model of the MG Cyberster is also available in a single-motor configuration. This single electric motor produces a maximum power output of 335hp. It can go from 0-100kmph in 5 seconds. Its top speed has been capped at 194km. The single-motor variant of the sportscar has a 508km driving range.

Inside, the EV will feature a wraparound 3-screen cockpit and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This infotainment system will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will also come with an 8-speaker Bose audio system.
