Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG launched in India at Rs 8.20 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of the Swift facelift. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift was launched in May 2024 at a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh. Prices for the CNG model start at Rs 8.20 lakh. It is available in three variants – V, V(O), and Z. The outgoing Swift CNG was available in just two variants.

Here is what the price list for the Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG looks like.

Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG is powered by the new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z12E engine. It produces a maximum power output of 69hp and 102Nm of torque in CNG mode. Its petrol counterpart puts out 80hp and 112Nm. The CNG model is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It offers a fuel efficiency of 32.85 km/kg. Meanwhile, the petrol engine has a mileage of 25.75 km/l.

In terms of features, the Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG (VXi) gets a 7-inch Smart Pro Playtouchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Suzuki Connect, automatic climate control, rear AC vent, 60:40 split rear seats, and wireless charging. Safety features include six airbags, Electronic Stability Program+ (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, and more.

He further added, “Maruti Suzuki pioneered the production of CNG vehicles in India back in 2010. Since then, we have sold over 2 million S-CNG vehicles to date, contributing to a significant reduction of 2 million tonnes of CO2 emissions. Our S-CNG technology has democratized green mobility solutions, and we are proud to offer the widest range of 14 S-CNG powered vehicles across all body styles. Last fiscal year, our CNG sales in the passenger vehicle category witnessed a 46.8% growth compared to Financial Year 2022- 23 and registered a CAGR of around 28% since 2010.”
