The biggest upgrade to the dashboard of the new Mahindra Thar Roxx is the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is notably larger than the 7-inch unit on the current 3-door Thar. The Thar Roxx shares its steering wheel with the XUV700. This steering wheel contains mounted controls for cruise control and the infotainment system. The leaked video also reveals the digital MID, analogue dials, and the air conditioning system.
The front captain seats on the Mahindra Thar Roxx now feature individual armrests. The reclining rear bench seat gets a centre armrest. The video also reveals three-point seatbelts and adjustable headrests for all passengers. On top of that, the Thar Roxx gets roof-mounted rear speakers, sunroof, rear AC vents, and more.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx will retain the 2 engine options from its 3-door counterpart – a 2.2-litre diesel, a 2.0-litre petrol engine, and the entry-level 1.5-litre petrol engine. It will also come in a 2WD configuration like its 3-door counterpart. The option of an automatic transmission will be reserved solely for 4×4 variants.
