Mahindra Auto has announced that it will pass the benefits from the new GST 2.0 structure to its customers. The XUV3XO will receive the highest benefits, worth up to Rs 1.56 lakh. While the GST 2.0 rates are set to come into effect on September 22, Mahindra is allowing buyers to book their vehicles at the revised prices. Other automakers like Nissan, Hyundai, Honda, and more have also updated the prices of their offerings.

Under the GST 2.0 structure, small cars will be taxed at 18% while the larger models will fall into the 40% bracket. Mahindra has not mentioned whether its EV range will become more affordable as well.
Mahindra is currently gearing up to launch the XUV700 facelift in India. The updated model of the SUV has been spotted testing in India on multiple occasions. It is expected to make its debut in early 2026. It will feature new projector headlamps and a new design for the LED DRLs. It is also expected to borrow the triple-screen infotainment system from the newly launched XEV 9e.
No changes are expected under the hood, as the SUV will continue with its 2 engine options. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 200hp and 380Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine is available in two tune levels. In entry-level variants, it generates a maximum power output of 155hp and 360Nm of torque. Whereas, in top-spec variants, this turbo diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 185hp and 420Nm. Paired with an automatic transmission, the torque output jumps to 450Nm. Both engines can be paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
