Jeep Wrangler Willys ‘41 Edition: What’s on offer?

The Willys ‘41 Edition is based on the top-spec Rubicon trim of the Jeep Wrangler. Taking inspiration from the Willys Jeep, the Wrangler special edition gets a ‘41 Green’ paint shade. On top of that, the hood of the SUV gets the 1941 decal. Jeep is also offering the special edition Wrangler in white, red, black, and grey paint shades. Other than the colour scheme and hood decal, no cosmetic changes have been made to the SUV.

The Willys ‘41 Edition of the Jeep Wrangler gets new accessories like power side steps, grab handles, floor mats, and front & rear dashcams. Jeep is also offering a Sunrider rooftop and a side ladder with a roof carrier with the Willys ‘41 Edition for a premium of Rs 4.65 lakh. In terms of features, the Wrangler packs a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the automaker’s new Uconnect 5 OS. This new OS offers the Trails Offroad guide, which has 62 off-road trails integrated into the infotainment system. There is support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. The central air vents sit just below the infotainment touchscreen. In terms of safety, the SUV gets six airbags as standard, ESC, hill start assist, hill descent control, TPMS, ADAS, and more.

Things remain the same under the hood, as the Willys ‘41 Edition of the Jeep Wrangler is powered by the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 270hp and 400Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed torque converter gearbox. There is AWD configuration onboard.

Speaking on the launch, Mr Kumar Priyesh, Brand Director, Jeep India, said: “The Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition is more than a vehicle—it’s a tribute to Jeep’s timeless legacy of freedom, adventure, and authenticity. Inspired by the original spirit of the Willys, this exclusive edition blends heritage with bold individuality, allowing passionate Jeepers to make a statement that’s both personal and iconic. It’s a celebration of everything Jeep represents, thoughtfully designed for those who value distinction rooted in legacy.”
