 2024 Jeep Wrangler: What’s new?

The new Jeep Wrangler facelift retains its signature seven-slat grille design. It now features an all-black colour theme instead of matching the body colour of the SUV. The slats are sleeker to facilitate better engine cooling. The SUV’s windshield is made out of Gorilla glass. Buyers get to choose between 17 and 18-inch alloy wheels for the Wrangler.

This new OS offers the Trails Offroad guide which has 62 offroad trails integrated into the infotainment system. There is support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. The central air vents sit just below the infotainment touchscreen. In terms of safety, the Wrangler gets six airbags as standard, ESC, hill start assist, hill descent control, TPMS, ADAS, and more.

Powering the new Jeep Wrangler is the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine which produces a maximum power output of 270hp and 400Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed torque converter gearbox. This turbo-petrol engine is also found on the Grand Cherokee. Jeep’s Selec-Trac 4WD system is a standard feature on the SUV. The Rubicon variant gets an additional ‘Rock’ mode.

Globally, the Jeep Wrangler is also available in 6 roof options. In India, buyers can only choose between soft and hard roofs. The V6, V8, and Hybrid engine options are also not available in the India-spec Wrangler.
