The interior of the 2026 Exter gets a new dual-tone Navy and Grey colour theme. The dashboard has a 3D pattern finish, while the steering wheel has a D-cut design. The fabric seat upholstery flaunts the Exter branding. Adjustable rear seat headrests and a height-adjustable driver’s seat are now standard across all variants of the SUV. Other features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, USB-C charging for rear seat passengers, a foldable driver’s armrest, and more.
The Hyundai Exter facelift has offers over 30 safety features as standard across all of its variants. Some of these include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC). Higher trims get access to over 45 advanced safety features.
The 2026 Exter continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. In a CNG guise, the SUV puts out 69hp and 95.2Nm. The CNG variants are available with manual transmission only.
