The 59kWh battery variants of the Mahindra BE 6 offer a driving range of 556km. Meanwhile, the larger 79kWh battery pack can go up to 682km on a full charge. The XEV 9e has a diminished driving range due to a heavier mass. Its 59kWh and 79kWh battery variants offer a driving range of 542km and 656km, respectively. Final Thoughts

Mahindra has also added a new ‘Default’ mode to the Origin SUVs. This mode replicates the driving feel of ICE vehicles, making it easier for first-time EV buyers to make the switch. The Mahindra BE 6 rivals the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV in India. The XEV 9e has no rivals yet, but it will lock horns with the upcoming Tata Harrier EV.
