XUV 700 Launched: Here is what Mahindra has to offer

Mahindra finally launched its premium segment SUV and it looks beautiful. Mahindra has put serious efforts into executing this project with its new logo and new body design as well as best in class tech. As mentioned in the event, Mahindra has planned 23 vehicles by the end of 2026 of which 9 of them are SUVs. XUV 700 has set a benchmark within Mahindra’s SUV range.

Tech On Offer in XUV 700

It is a combination of pure luxury and adrenaline rush. The handle door is auto-retractable. Adrenox is the intelligence that controls XUV 700, which has dual 10.25-inch display screens in the digital cockpit. It has Alexa voice control that can be used to even open the sunroof. For enhancing your sound experience Mahindra has perfectly placed 12 Sony speakers which gives immersive 3D sound on board.

6-way adjustable seats come with soft finish and go a little inside when you enter your XUV 700. It also has a 360-degree parking view sensor so going back in a tight parking spot is hassle-free.

Mahindra has included more than 60 connected car capabilities with which you can preheat or cool your XUV before going for a ride. It is equipped with a first in class dual-zone climate so each passenger can set the temperature according to their liking.

Engine on offer in Mahindra XUV 700

XUV 700 comes out in the open with 2 engine types. Both engines are manual and automatic only is available in diesel. The mHawk Diesel produces 185 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque for manual and 450 Nm of torque for automatic. Turbocharged mStallion Petrol engine produces 200PS of power and 380 Nm of torque.

The company claims that these engines can take XUV 700 from 0-60 in just 4.6 seconds and the top speed as claimed is 200 Kmph. The SUV comes with 3 riding modes “Zip”,” Zap” and “ Zoom”. Where Zip is made for a comfortable low powered, comfortable ride experience, the Zap mode the rider is offered with a little bit more thrust of power. And with Zoom the riders start to feel the Power of this aggressive engine.

Mahindra also ensured security with 10 driving assist features. These sport radar and camera technology that the company calibrated for Indian roads. The company provided 7 airbags with the dynamic stability control program. This corrects the running of the vehicle paired with security alerts in your loved one voice and driver drowsiness detection. Looking at it, Mahindra has not left any stones unturned for security.

The XUV 700 comes with 4 wheel drive as an option for those adventurous trips. There are 4 options available for their new release, the MX version i.e the non Adrenox version and the rest three are the Ax3, Ax5 and Ax7, which come with Adrenox and added features as you go up in the model range.

Mahindra has brought a great new lineup of SUVs and we are eagerly waiting for how much each will cost, as the company claimed there is an XUV 700 for everyone. The price of the XUV 700 starts at Rs 11.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and goes up to 14.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). This is a great price for a full blown SUV. It should send jitters to makers like Hyundai that rules this price segment.

By the looks of the rivalry is just getting heated up, there might be some dealer discounts also coming up as the festive season arrive and many in India like to purchase cars and bikes during those months.
