What’s new on the Snowstorm and Blackstorm editions of the MG Hector?

The Snowstorm and Blackstorm editions of the MG Hector come in Pearl White and Starry Black paint shades only. The roof rails, grille, and alloy wheels of both models have been blacked out. The brake callipers are finished in red. Dark chrome elements have been added to the logos, skid plates, body cladding, and tailgate. The taillights have a smoky effect, while the bezels on the headlamps have been blacked out. The ‘Storm Series’ package brings add-ons like exclusive logos, a red tailgate accent, ORVM protectors with red accents, and a red accent for the tailgate.

The cabins of both special edition models have an all-black theme. The dark seat upholstery has the edition’s name embroidered into it. The dashboard is also finished in black. Since the Snowstorm and Blackstorm editions are based on the top-spec Savvy trim of the Hector, they are loaded with premium features. These include a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an air filter, push-button start/stop, a powered driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, and more.

The Snowstorm and Blackstorm editions are powered by the E20-compliant 1.5-litre petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 142hp and 250Nm of torque. It is mated to a CVT on the special edition models. There is no option for a manual transmission. The 2-litre diesel engine cannot be opted for on these models either. On the standard model, this engine churns out a maximum power output of 168hp and 350Nm of torque.
