Lexus ES 350h: Everything you need to know

Here are the prices for all models in the Lexus ES series.

Trim Price
ES 350h Exquisite (strong-hybrid) Rs 66.10 lakh
ES 350h Luxury (strong-hybrid) Rs 71.80 lakh
ES 500e (all-electric) Rs 89.99 lakh

The new hybrid model looks identical to its all-electric counterpart. It is 170mm longer, 55mm wider, and 130mm taller than its outgoing version, with an 80mm larger wheelbase. The luxury sedan follows Lexus’ ‘Provocative Simplicity’ design language. The ‘spindle grille’ has been closed off for a cleaner look. The L-shaped LED DRLs complement the angular look of the sedan. The LED headlamps are positioned on the bumper. The air dam has a unique pattern along its sides.

The profile of the ES 350h is marked by its coupe-like sloping roofline. A Z-shaped trim runs along the door and lends a lot of character to the vehicle. The sedan rests on 17-inch alloy wheels. At the back, it gets L-shaped tail lamps connected by a light bar. There are 5 paint shades on offer – White Nova, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Copper, Sonic Chrome (Exquisite), Graphite Black (Luxury), Sou (Luxury).

The interior of the ES 350h has a clean and minimal look. The dashboard houses a free-floating 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster. There’s wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity on board. Other features include a Mark Levinson audio system, powered front seats with heating and ventilation functions, powered bootlid, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and more. On the safety front, the sedan gets 10 airbags, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Hold Assist, Surround View Camera, front/rear parking sensors, and more. The Lexus Safety System+ adds features like Pre-Collision System, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Drive Monitor, and more.

Powering the Lexus ES 350h is a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder strong-hybrid petrol engine. The NA petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 186hp and 235Nm. Meanwhile, the electric motor puts out 201hp and 270Nm alone. The combined powertrain generates 244hp. The sedan can go from 0-100km/h in 7.7 seconds.

Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India, said, “As we continue to strengthen our ES family, the All-New ES 350h will be manufactured in India, following the success of the previous generation, reaffirming our enduring commitment to the Indian market. The new model underscores Lexus’ multi-pathway approach to electrification and reinforces our dedication to advancing sustainable mobility in India. In line with this direction, we are pleased to announce the opening of bookings for the All-New ES 350h, a model that has long been cherished by our guests in India. The response and anticipation surrounding this new generation have been immensely encouraging.

Our focus remains on offering our guests a broader portfolio of electrified vehicles, and the new ES 350h stands as a testament to that promise. Built in India with the spirit of Lexus Takumi craftsmanship and the same world-class quality standards that define every Lexus globally, the ES embodies advanced technology, exceptional ride comfort, and remarkable stability, all guided by the spirit of Omotenashi. We are confident that the All-New ES 350h will further enhance the appeal of the ES lineup among our esteemed guests.”
