After making its global debut in April 2023, the Jeep Wrangler facelift is finally available in India. The SUV is available in two variants – Unlimited and Rubicon. The Wrangler Unlimited is priced at Rs 67.65 lakh while the Rubicon fetches Rs 71.65 lakh. The SUV gets some notable design changes inside and out. In India, the Wrangler is available with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine.

The new Jeep Wrangler facelift retains its signature seven-slat grille design. It now features an all-black colour theme instead of matching the body colour of the SUV. The slats are sleeker to facilitate better engine cooling. The SUV’s windshield is made out of Gorilla glass. Buyers get to choose between 17 and 18-inch alloy wheels for the Wrangler.
Inside, the Jeep Wrangler facelift gets a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the automaker’s new Uconnect 5 OS. This new OS offers the Trails Offroad guide which has 62 offroad trails integrated into the infotainment system. There is support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. The central air vents sit just below the infotainment touchscreen. In terms of safety, the Wrangler gets six airbags as standard, ESC, hill start assist, hill descent control, TPMS, ADAS, and more.
Powering the new Jeep Wrangler is the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine which produces a maximum power output of 270hp and 400Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed torque converter gearbox. This turbo-petrol engine is also found on the Grand Cherokee. Jeep’s Selec-Trac 4WD system is a standard feature on the SUV. The Rubicon variant gets an additional ‘Rock’ mode.
Globally, the Jeep Wrangler is also available in 6 roof options. In India, buyers can only choose between soft and hard roofs. The V6, V8, and Hybrid engine options are also not available in the India-spec Wrangler.

The new Jeep Wrangler facelift is available in five colours – Sage Green, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Black, and Firecracker Red. With prices starting at Rs 67.65 lakh, the Wrangler rivals the Land Rover Defender in India. Globally, the SUV rivals the Ford Bronco.
