Hyundai Exter Knight Edition launched at a starting price of Rs 8.14 lakh

The Hyundai Exter range has been refreshed with a special ‘Knight’ edition. The special edition model gets blacked-out exterior styling elements and an all-black interior theme. It is available in HX6 Petrol/CNG/MT/AMT and HX10 Petrol MT variants. The Knight Edition models command a premium of Rs 15,000 over the price of their base variants.

2026 Hyundai Exter Knight Edition: What’s on offer?

Here are the prices for all the variants of the Exter Knight Edition.

The Knight Edition adds blacked-out highlights along the exterior of the Exter SUV. These include a matte black Hyundai and Exter logo, a dark grey bumper and side sill garnish, and the choice between black or dark grey alloy wheels. The brake callipers have red highlights. The special edition SUV also gets an exclusive Knight emblem on the tailgate.

Inside, the Exter Knight Edition gets an all-black colour theme with brass accents. Its semi-fabric upholstery dons an exclusive black shade. The D-cut steering wheel is also finished in black. Additionally, the special edition model gets amber footwell lighting. No changes have been made to the instrumentation and features. The SUV continues with its 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 8-inch digital instrument cluster. There’s wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity on board.

The Knight Edition retains the powertrain of the standard model. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. In a CNG guise, the SUV puts out 69hp and 95.2Nm. The CNG variants are available with manual transmission only.

Final Thoughts

The Exter first got a Knight Edition in 2024. Since the SUV was facelifted in March 2026, the Knight Edition has been re-added for the updated model. It is available in 5 colour options: Titanium Black, Atlas White, Starry Night, Titan Grey, and Golden Bronze.
