Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus get discounts worth up to Rs 3 lakh this month

Volkswagen India is carrying forward its discount schemes for its major offerings from last month. The Volkswagen Tiguan SUV has yet again bagged the biggest discount package, worth Rs 3 lakh. The midsize sedan, Virtus, and midsize SUV, Taigun, are also available with big discounts this month. These offers will expire on November 30.

Volkswagen Tiguan

Maximum Discount: Rs 3 lakh

Volkswagen Tiguan is a CBU import into India. It is available in a single R Line variant. It is available with a cash offer worth Rs 2 lakh, a loyalty bonus of Rs 50,000, and an option of an exchange or scrappage bonus worth Rs 50,000. Volkswagen Tiguan is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 204hp and 320Nm of torque. It is priced at Rs 38.17 lakh.

Volkswagen Taigun

Maximum Discount: Rs 2 lakh

The MY2024 and MY2025 entry-level Comfortline 1.0L TSI variants of the Taigun SUV are available at a special price of Rs 10.58 lakh. The MY2024 Highline trim is priced at Rs 11.93 lakh and Rs 12.95 lakh for the MT and AT variants, respectively. Other MY2024 1.0 TSI trims get Rs 2 lakh off. This includes cash offers worth Rs 1.50 lakh, loyalty bonuses of up to Rs 20,000, and an option of Rs 30,000 in exchange benefits or a scrappage bonus of Rs 20,000. The MY2025 1.0L TSI Highline Plus and Topline variants get Rs 1 lakh off. Prices for the SUV start at Rs 11.39 lakh and go up to Rs 21.10 lakh.

Volkswagen Virtus

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.50 lakh

The Topline 1.0L TSI variant of the Virtus sedan is available with discounts worth up to Rs 1.50 lakh this month. The Highline variants get Rs 80,000 off. The 1.5L TSI GT Plus variants get Rs 50,000 off. Prices for the sedan start at Rs 11.16 lakh and go up to Rs 18.73 lakh.

The Virtus shares its powertrain with the Taigun. The 1.5-litre TSI generates a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre TSI engine produces a maximum power output of 115hp and 178Nm of peak torque. It can be mated to a 6 manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Final Thoughts

As mentioned earlier, these discounts are only available on the Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus. They will expire on November 30.
