The special edition Toyota Hilux gets the all-black treatment. The chrome elements on the radiator grille, fender, fuel lid, and OVRMs have been blacked out on the Black Edition. The front skid plate, wheel arch cladding, and 18-inch alloy wheels are also finished in black.
No changes have been made to the interior of the Toyota Hilux Black Edition as the dashboard and upholstery of the regular model are already finished in black. Since the special edition is based on the High variant, it gets features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a fully automatic dual-zone climate control system, cruise control, 8-way powered driver seat, smart entry, auto headlamps, IVRM with auto-dimming, a reverse parking camera, and more.
Safety features include 7 SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) & Traction Control (TC), Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), Automatic Hill Assist Control (HAC) & Downhill Assist Control (DAC), Automatic Limited Slip Differential (ALSD), front parking sensors, and more.
No changes have been made under the hood as the Toyota Hilux Black Edition continues to be powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 204Nm and 500Nm of torque. The Black Edition is available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox only.
