Tata Curvv: What’s on offer?

The ICE version of Tata Curvv gets a wide front grille with LED DRLs on either side. Connecting the two DRLs is a sleek light bar running across the grille. On the all-electric version of the Curvv, this grille is closed off. Along the sides, the Tata Curvv flaunts a coupe-like look, thanks to its sloping roofline. The wheel arches on the crossover are squared off. The Curvv stands at dimensions of 4,309mm x 1,810mm x 1,630mm and has a 2,560mm wheelbase.

The interior of the ICE Tata Curvv is identical to its EV version. However, it has a red and black dual-tone colour theme, which is different from the white and grey theme on the Curvv EV. The four-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo is similar to the one found on the Harrier SUV. The dashboard layout is borrowed from the Nexon. The ICE crossover features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a Level 2 ADAS package and more.

Tata Curvv is available with three engine options – a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol engine. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 120hp and 170Nm of torque. The diesel engine puts out 118hp and 260Nm. Meanwhile, the 1.2L direct injection turbo petrol engine generates 125hp and 225Nm. All three engines are available with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox options.

Prices for the crossover are expected to start at Rs 11 lakh. Upon launch, it will rival the upcoming Citroen Basalt and the existing midsize SUVs.
