Renault Kiger facelift launched in India at Rs 6.30 lakh

Renault has finally launched the facelifted version of the Kiger SUV in India. Prices for the Renault Kiger facelift start at Rs 6.30 lakh and go up to Rs 11.30 lakh. The SUV comes in 4 trim levels – Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. It gets cosmetic and feature upgrades but remains the same under the hood.

2025 Renault Kiger facelift: What’s new?

Here is the price list for the new Renault Kiger facelift.

The Techno and Emotion trims are available in dual-tone paint shades. However, the 1L NA powertrain options demand a premium of Rs 23,000 for the dual-tone shades. The dual-tone variants with the turbo-petrol engine demand no additional money.

The Renault Kiger facelift gets a redesigned front grille. This grille gets the new Renault logo. The hood is sculpted and exudes a muscular look. The design of the LED headlamps and tail lamps has been refreshed. The front and rear bumpers have been reworked as well. The SUV also features new skid plates. There are new decals on the C pillars. The SUV rests on new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. There are 2 new colour options on offer – Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey. The Turbo variants get exclusive badging.

Inside, the Renault Kiger facelift gets a new dual-tone colour theme for the dashboard. There are enhanced stitch patterns on the gear knobs, steering, and armrest. The cabin is now quieter, thanks to improved noise insulation materials on the hood, floor, and dash. The rear centre armrest gets cup holders.

In terms of features, the Renault Kiger facelift offers an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a multi-view camera,  a 3D surround sound system by Arkamys, wireless charging and more. On the safety front, the SUV is equipped with 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, ESP, traction control, Hill Start Assist, and ISOFIX anchorages as standard features.

Things remain the same under the hood as the Renault Kiger facelift continues to be offered in 2 engine options. The 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 72hp and 96Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. It has a fuel economy of 19.83km/l. Meanwhile, the 1-litre turbo petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 100hp and 160Nm of torque. It can be linked to a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox. This engine offers a mileage of 20.38km/l.

Final Thoughts

Apart from the 2 new colour options, the Kiger retains its previous paint shades: Radiant Red, Caspian Blue, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, and Stealth Black. The facelifted model is only Rs 15,000 more expensive than the outgoing version. It continues to rival Nissan MagniteKia SonetHyundai VenueTata Nexon, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
