The new Hyundai Venue will borrow several design elements from the Creta. These will be most visible on its front fascia. Test mules have revealed that it will get a split headlamp setup along with vertically stacked LED DRLs. The grille will flaunt a rectangular pattern. The front and rear bumpers will be redesigned as well. The SUV will rock the same dimensions and profile as the current model. However, it will get a new design for its 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the next-gen Venue will get a new dashboard and a twin display unit. This unit will comprise 2 10.25-inch displays, one for the touchscreen infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster. The AC vents and physical control knobs for the HVAC system will be positioned below the infotainment system. In terms of big feature upgrades, the Venue will get ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 ADAS package.
Things will remain the same under the hood of the new Hyundai Venue, as it will retain the 3 powertrain options of the current-gen model. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine puts out 120hp and 170Nm. This engine can also be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 250Nm of torque. This engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
