It was facelifted in 2022. This will be its first generational update for the compact SUV. Internally codenamed QU2i, test mules of the SUV have been spotted on multiple occasions throughout the year. The upcoming model will receive several cosmetic and feature upgrades, but will remain the same under the hood. Hyundai will open bookings for the SUV in the coming weeks.

The new Hyundai Venue will borrow several design elements from the Creta. These will be most visible on its front fascia. Test mules have revealed that it will get a split headlamp setup along with vertically stacked LED DRLs. The grille will flaunt a rectangular pattern. The front and rear bumpers will be redesigned as well. The SUV will rock the same dimensions and profile as the current model. However, it will get a new design for its 16-inch alloy wheels.
