The new Venue stands at dimensions of 3,995mm x 1,800mm x 1,665mm, and has a 2,520mm wheelbase. It is 48mm taller and 30mm wider than the current-gen model. The front fascia of the SUV features a new grille which is embedded with vertically-stacked Quad Beam LED headlamps. A sleek LED light bar spans the width of the bonnet to connect the two DRLs. The LED DRLs drop down to form L-shaped motifs around the headlamps. The bumper is more muscular than before and incorporates large air vents.
Along the sides, the 2025 Venue flaunts prominent character lines over the wheel arches. There’s thick body cladding around these arches as well as the door sills. One of the biggest additions to the profile of the SUV is the addition of a rear quarter glass. The blacked-out C-pillars have a silver garnish and feature the ‘Venue’ lettering. The design of the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels has been tweaked as well.
Inside, the new Venue packs twin 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. There are physical controls for HVAC and media below the AC vents on the dashboard. The steering ditches the Hyundai logo for four illuminated dots (representing ‘H’ in Morse code). The cabin has a dark navy and gray colour theme. The centre console has physical buttons for the parking camera, ventilated seating, electronic parking brake, and drive modes. Other features include ambient lighting, reclining rear seats, rear AC vents, and more.
Much like its predecessor, the 2nd-gen Venue comes in 3 engine options. There are 7 petrol (HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX8, and HX10) and 4 diesel (HX2, HX5, HX7, and HX10) trims on offer. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine puts out 120hp and 170Nm. This engine can also be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 250Nm of torque. This engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Hyundai may add a DCT gearbox for this engine on the new Venue.
