New-gen Hyundai Venue spotted testing again, expected to launch in festive season

Hyundai Venue has been spotted testing in India on multiple occasions this year. The compact SUV is due for an update, and Hyundai is planning to unveil its next-gen model in the festive season. Its N Line model has spotted testing as well, which leads us to believe that it will be launched alongside the regular lineup. Hyundai will begin the marketing campaign for the SUV in August.

Next-gen Hyundai Venue: What to expect?

Hyundai will bring the 2025 Venue’s design on par with its global SUV portfolio. Its front fascia will look similar to the new Creta. The quad-LED headlamps will be stacked vertically. They will be integrated with LED DRLs. The parametric grille found on the current model will be replaced with rectangular slats. Hyundai will also make some changes to the Venue’s profile. The SUV will have a flatter silhouette and get thicker wheel arch cladding. At the back, the design of the bumper and LED tail lamps will be tweaked.

Not much is known about the interior of the 2025 Hyundai Venue. We expect changes to the dashboard, cabin, upholstery, and steering wheel. The SUV may also get a larger touchscreen infotainment system. The current model uses an 8-inch display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The higher variants of the new model will get a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seating, a Level 2 ADAS package, and other premium features.

No changes will be made under the hood of the next-gen Hyundai Venue. The SUV will continue to be offered in 3 powertrain options. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine puts out 120hp and 170Nm. This engine can also be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 250Nm of torque. This engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
