New ‘Corporate’ trim added to Hyundai Aura lineup

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has added a new trim to its compact sedan’s lineup. The new ‘Corporate’ trim of the Hyundai Aura sits between the S and SX variants. It is priced at Rs 7.48 lakh. This trim is also available in a CNG powertrain, priced at Rs 8.47 lakh. The automaker also added a new SX Tech variant to the Exter SUV’s lineup.

Hyundai Aura: Here’s what you get on the Corporate trim

The ‘Corporate’ trim of the Hyundai Aura gets the following new features:

  • 6.75-inch touchscreen display
  • 15-inch dual-tone steel wheels
  • LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs)
  • Rear wing spoiler
  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
  • Rear AC vent
  • Rear centre armrest with cup holder
  • Corporate badging

Hyundai Aura is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm peak torque. It can be mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox. In a CNG configuration, this engine puts out 69hp and 95Nm. The Aura CNG offers a mileage of 28.4 km/kg. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine was discontinued for the current model.

The CNG model of the Hyundai Aura has a leak-proof design, a CNG switch, and a convenient CNG refuelling nozzle near the petrol filling area. It also rocks 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts for all seats and seatbelt reminders for all seats.

Commenting on the introduction of new variants and upgrades, Mr Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “With the launch of new variants and updates to our 2 key models – EXTER and AURA, we aim to offer best value proposition to our customers. I am confident that these new enhancements will resonate extremely well with our customers and elevate their driving experience even further”.

Conclusion

The Hyundai Aura facelift was launched in India in January 2023 at a starting price of Rs 6.29 lakh. Currently, the compact sedan is priced between Rs 6.54 lakh and Rs 9.11 lakh. In India, the Hyundai Aura rivals the likes of the Tata Tigor, Honda Amaze, and Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.
