Maruti Suzuki Victoris has crossed the 1 lakh sales milestone in India. It was launched in September 2025. It took the SUV just 9 months to garner 1 lakh sales. It reached the 50,000 sales landmark back in January. The Victoris is underpinned by the same platform as the Grand Vitara. The two SUVs share the same powertrains.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris contributed to 14% of the automaker’s UV (Utility Vehicle) sales between September 2025 and May 2026. In the current fiscal year, it trails behind the Fronx, Ertiga, and Brezza in sales. As of March 2026, Maruti had shipped 4,899 units of the Victoris to global markets.
One of the key drivers behind the Maruti Suzuki Victoris’ success is its extensive feature set. The SUV flaunts a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with multiple display modes, an 8-speaker audio system with Dolby Atmos support, automatic climate control, 64-colour ambient lighting, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, Heads-Up Display, a panoramic sunroof, an air purifier, connected car tech, wireless charging, and more features.
When it comes to safety, the Victoris packs 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold control, brake assist, ISOFIX anchorages, and traction control as standard features. Higher variants get premium features like a 360-degree camera and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The Victoris is the first Maruti Suzuki offering in India to come with a Level 2 ADAS package. The SUV is rated 5 stars for safety by the Bharat NCAP.
The Victoris comes in 3 powertrain options. The 1.5-litre K15C mild hybrid petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 103hp and 137Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre TNGA strong-hybrid petrol engine sourced from Toyota puts out 115hp and 137Nm. The CNG engine generates out 89hp. The mild hybrid variants have a fuel economy of 21.18km/l and 21.06km/l with manual and automatic transmissions, respectively. In AWD variants, this number drops to 19.07km/l. The strong hybrid variants offer a mileage of 28.65km/l. Lastly, the CNG variants have a mileage of 27.02km/kg.

Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Victoris start at Rs 10.49 lakh and go up to Rs 19.99 lakh. It rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Citroen Aircross, MG Astor, and other midsize SUVs in India.
