Maruti Suzuki e Vitara confirmed to launch next month

Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that its debut EV, e Vitara, will go on sale in India in December. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara broke cover last year in Milan, Italy. Earlier this year, it made its India debut at the Auto Expo 2025. Initially projected to launch in mid-2025, the e Vitara faced production setbacks due to battery supply and software issues. It finally went into production in August 2025, with the first batch shipped overseas. With over 7,000 units exported to foreign markets, the e Vitara is finally ready to go on sale in its home territory. Maruti will begin the promotional campaign for its electric SUV in the coming weeks.
