The front fascia of the facelifted model has been completely revamped. The front grille has a piano black finish and jewel-like talon accents, which give it a premium look. Flanking the grille on either side are Bi-LED projector headlamps surrounded by boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. There are no big changes along the sides, apart from a new design for the 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The SUV flaunts electric smart door handles. At the back, it gets diamond-inspired clear lens LED tail lamps.
Mahindra XUV 7XO is the first ICE SUV in its segment to feature a triple-screen setup on its dashboard. This setup comprises three 12.3-inch screens, one each for the digital driver’s display, touchscreen infotainment system, and the passenger entertainment system. There’s support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Other features include Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, 6-way powered front seats, front and rear ventilated seating, wireless charging with active cooling, automatic temperature control with Quiet Mode, acoustic solar windscreen, and more.
On the safety front, the Mahindra XUV 7XO gets 75 features as standard, including 6 airbags, ESP with EBD, and Hill Descent Control. Higher variants get 7 airbags, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, TPMS, auto-booster headlamps with high beam assist, a Level 2 ADAS package with 17 functions, and more.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO is available in turbo-petrol and diesel engine options. These engines have been carried forward from the outgoing model. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 200hp and 380Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine is available in two tune levels. The entry-level variants put out 155hp and 360Nm of torque, while the top-spec variants generate 185hp and 420Nm. The torque output jumps to 450Nm on the automatic variants. Both engines can be paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Mr R Velusamy, President, Automotive Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “XUV 7XO is our next step in delivering a truly premium, technology-forward SUV—smoother in ride, sharper in response, and smarter in experience. We are introducing the DAVINCI suspension system—our new valve-based damping technology—for the first time worldwide, delivering a distinctly more plush and settled ride.
ADAS with ADRENOX+, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P, marks the first introduction of this chipset in an ICE vehicle in India, enabling exceptional computing speed and responsiveness. Inside, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system, engineered for exceptional spectral balance, is paired with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision—introduced for the first time in India. Backed by mStallion and mHawk powertrains and upgraded ADAS, the XUV 7XO offers a drive that feels confident, refined and engaging.”
