Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition production limit increased to 999 units

Mahindra Auto has increased the production limit of the newly announced, Batman-themed BE 6. The automaker will now manufacture 999 units of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition, adding 699 units to the initial production limit of 300 units. The special edition electric SUV is based on Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: Booking process explained

The pre-booking window for the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is now open. Interested buyers can pre-book their unit by adding it to the cart. They will be asked to validate their phone numbers via OTP and complete the KYC process for a faster checkout when the booking window opens.

The booking window for the limited edition Mahindra BE 6 will open on August 23 at 11 am. Interested buyers who have pre-booked their unit will be able to confirm their booking by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000. Once the booking has been confirmed, buyers can choose a badge number between 001 to 999. This number will be featured on the Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque on the dashboard.

The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition has a Satin Black exterior. The front doors flaunt Batman decals. The brake callipers and suspension are finished in contrasting Alchemy Gold. The ‘BE 6 x The Dark Knight’ badge is placed on the back of the EV. The ‘Batman Edition’ signature sticker is present on the rear door cladding. The Bat emblem can be found on the hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, infinity roof, windows, and rear windshield. The carpet lamps project the Bat emblem too.

Inside, the driver’s cockpit in the limited edition model is surrounded by a gold halo. At the centre of the cockpit lies the charcoal leather instrument panel. The steering wheel, Electronic Parking Brake, in-touch controller, and key fob have gold accents. The seats, ‘boost’ button, and interior labels are embossed with the Bat symbol. The infotainment system has special, Batman-themed loading screens. The engine sounds are also inspired by the Batman trilogy.

The Batman Edition is based on the 79kWh Pack Three variant of the Mahindra BE 6. It generates a maximum power output of 286hp and 380Nm. The 79kWh battery pack can go up to 682km on a single charge, as claimed by ARAI. It can be charged with 7.2kW or 11kW home AC adapters.

Final Thought

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition’s delivery rollout will begin on September 20, which is celebrated as International Batman Day. The automaker has also mentioned that it may introduce more limited-edition models in 2026.
